A song to support the England football team. It's catchy, it's fun, it's different - and it has the power to change lives.
Written by the Spencer-Wortley brothers with music by Oliver and lyrics by Thomas, they have teamed up with the charity Kick4Life and the proceeds will be going to support the fantastic work they do by using sport to help disadvantaged children in Southern Africa.
‘Don’t matter what shirt you wear, we’re England underneath’
The song’s simple lyrics convey the message, regardless of which club each individual supports, which area of the country they come from or where they reside, we are all supporting ‘England’, demonstrating that sport has the ability to put aside differences and unite people from all backgrounds and beliefs.
To bring the lyrics to life, Thomas invited every English club in the Premiership, Championship and Leagues 1 & 2 to be represented in the recording. 90 people, 90 shirts, standing side by side forming the chorus and a feel of the 'crowd'.
Thomas was joined in the studio by Peter Shilton, who sang with him on the recording. England goalkeeping legend Peter Shilton is the most capped England player of all time with an unbelievable 125 England caps, making him the most capped goalkeeper of all time.
Thomas is taking some time out, away from his normal repertoire to promote the single, support the England team in their World Cup bid and raise as much as possible for the charity's work in Lesotho, Africa.
